In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire yet again and fired at a BSF patrol party leaving a jawan injured in Samba district of Jammu division on Friday.Pakistani troops fired on the patrol party along the International Border (IB) in Khowara belt in Samba district on Friday night. In the firing, a BSF jawan identified as Rakesh Kumar of Gurdaspur, Punjab, was injured while the horse on which the BSF Jawan was patrolling the border got killed due to volley of bullets. The BSF jawan was admitted in the Government Medical College, Hospital, and Jammu, where his condition continues to be critical. The firing by Pakistani side continued for over 15 minutes.However, Indian troops exercised restraint and did not fire. A senior BSF officer described it a clear case of ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops.
