Pak violates ceasefire, fires on Indian posts in Jammu

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani troops violated ceasefire last night by firing on Indian Posts along the border in Jammu district.

Official sources said, Pakistani Rangers resorted to indiscriminate firing on Indian forward post at Kote Kuba in Arnia area of RS Pura sector in Jammu district. Border Security Force personnel guarding the border returned the fire.

The intermittent firing from Pakistani side continued for almost one hour. However, there was no loss of life or damage to the property due to the firing by Pak Rangers.

After the detection of underground tunnel in border village of Samba on July 28, this is the first time that Pakistani Rangers have resorted to unprovoked firing on Indian forward post.
