Pak troops violate ceasefire again; target Indian posts along LoC with rockets & gunfire

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani troops once again violated the ceasefire by targeting five Indian posts with rockets and heavy machine gun fire along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to PRO, Defence Pakistani troops fired Rocket Projectile grenades and opened indiscriminate small and heavy weaponry firing on Indian posts in Krishangati forward areas along LoC late last night . The Pakistani troops fired 1800 rounds from light and heavy machine guns besides other weapons from 2215 hours till 2315 hours.

our correspondent reports that Pakistani troops targeted five Indian Posts of Dogra, Chajamun, Gorda, Kripan and Kranti from their posts of Daku, Roza, Khair and Battal. Indian Troops guarding the borderline fired back to silence the Pak roaring guns. However, there was no casualty or injury to anyone in the firing exchange. Pakistani troops have violated the ceasefire 18 times in the past nearly one-and–a-half month. There were 39 ceasefire violations by Pakistan this year while last year ceasefire was violated by Pak troops 51 times.
