Pak troops violate ceasefire again in J&K

Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire again and it was promptly retaliated by BSF troops. A BSF officer said in Jammu that Pakistan rangers resorted to firing by small weapons in Pindi border belt in R S Pura sector. He said, Indian troops guarding the border replied effectively.

This is the second incident of ceasefire violation in July. On July 1, Pakistani troops resorted to heavy firing by automatic and small weapons on Indian posts along the Line of Control in Mendhar forward areas of Poonch district.

In June, Pakistan violated ceasefire five times along LoC and International border in Jammu region.
