Pak troops resorted to indiscriminate firing in Poonch sector of J&K

In yet another incident of ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops resorted to indiscriminate firing on Wednesday afternoon on forward Indian posts in Krishna Ghati sub-sector of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to reliable sources, Pak troops resorted to unprovoked and heavy firing on three forward Indian posts of Kripan, Chajapani and Kranti in Krishna Ghati sub-sector in Mendhar, Poonch. It is believed that Pakistan wants to push trained militants into the Indian territory to create disturbances by resorting to unprovoked firing. The firing is also aimed at escalating tension on the borders and in the State ahead of United States President Barrack Obama’s visit early next month. When the reports last came in, intermittent firing was still going on from across the border. Indian forces are maintaining constant vigil on the borders to thwart the evil designs of Pakistan.
