Pakistani forces resorted to mortar shelling and heavy firing on civilian areas and Indian positions along with LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir last night. According to the defence sources, the Pakistani troops started unprovoked shelling and firing in Sabjiyan and Mandi areas of Poonch sector around 10 PM last night. The Indian troops gave befitting reply to the shelling and the exchange of fire lasted till 1 AM. <br/><br/>However there is no casualty or injuries to anyone from the Indian side so far. Since Saturday, heavy shelling and firing by Pakistani forces in Balakot sector of Poonch district has left 6 civilians killed and 20 others injured. However, there is no report of fresh shelling or firing by Pakistani troops in this sector since 5 PM yesterday evening.
