Pak thrashes Eng by 10 wickets

A rejuvenated Pakistan thrashed the world number one test team England by 10 wickets in the first test of the three match series in Dubai. The English were bundled out for 160 in the second innings after conceding a 146-run lead in the first innings. Paceman Umar Gul was the chief wrecker this time as he demolished the top order in his opening spell. Pakistan won the match by scoring the required 15 runs without loss of any wicket in their second innings. Pakistan is hosting the three-match series in the Gulf due to security concerns in their own country. The teams are playing for the first time since the controversial 2010 series in England which led to three Pakistan players being jailed on spot fixing charges. The second test starts in Abu Dhabi on 26th January.
