The Pakistani Taliban have claimed responsibility for a failed attempt to assassinate the sister of Awami National Party chief Asfandyar Wali Khan in Peshawar. Militants shot at and injured Khan's sister GulalaiKhan while she was leaving her private medical clinic in Peshawar on Monday.
