Pak student with explosive substance detained in Chile

A Pakistani student arrested at the U.S embassy in Chile after triggering a bomb detector, has been charged with illegal possession of explosives. The man, identified by the U.S State department as Muhammad Saif-ur-Rehman Khan, had been detained under anti-terrorism laws since Monday's incident. Police said traces of the explosive, Tetryl, had been found on documents and a mobile phone in his possession. Mr Khan has denied any wrongdoing and blamed the U.S for his detention.
