Pakistan's ruling party today empowered Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to dissolve the federal cabinet and to form a small new cabinet. According to the State television, PTV, the decision was made in the Central Executive Committee meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). PTV said the prime minister will decide timings for the dissolution of the cabinet. It said the ministers, who have shown good performance over the past three years, will be inducted into the cabinet.
