Pak rejects claim about arrested of JeM chief’s brother

Pakistani authorities have refuted Chilean police's claim of having arrested the brother of Jaish-e Mohammad,JeM, chief Maulana Masood Azhar who is accused of coordinating the hijacking of an Indian Airlines plane in 1999. According to a media report, the authorities said they had nabbed someone else because Mufti Abdul Rauf, the younger brother of Azhar, is present in Rawalpindi.Chilean authorities had informed the CBI through Interpol on Monday that they had arrested a Pakistani national, AbdulRauf, who matched the description of the person charge-sheetedby the CBI in the hijacking of flight IC-814.
