Defence Minister A. K. Antony has said Pakistan was refusing to take steps to dismantle terrorist camps operating from its land due to which India’s armed forces have to be vigilant and be prepared to meet any challenge. Speaking to reporters after reviewing the 175th Flight Cadets Combined Graduation Parade at the Air Force Academy at Dundigal near Hyderabad, the Defence Minister expressed serious concern over the security situation in the country. He said, as long as terrorist camps are operative from across the border, we have to be vigilant and on guard at all times. Stating that violence level has certainly come down in Jummu and Kashmir due to steps taken by the armed forces, he expressed hope that the situation will further improve. He also expressed enthusiasm over youth especially girls, preferring a career in the armed forces, giving up even the corporate sector.<br/>
