Pak Rangers violate ceasfire in Jammu on Independence Day

Pakistan Rangers fired at the BSF troops in Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday. A senior BSF official said, there was small arms firing at Indian Border Out Post of Pansar along International Border in Samba sector. Unprovoked firing by Pakistan rangers started around 3.30 PM. The BSF troops guarding the borderline replied back. The Indian side did not suffer any injury or damage during the firing. This was the seventh ceasefire violation in the state in 11 days. Earlier, during the day, BSF and Pak Rangers exchanged sweets and greetings on the occasion of India's 66th Independence Day.
