Pakistan has proposed to India two sets of dates, July 11-12 and July 25-26 for Foreign Ministerial talks to be held in New Delhi. The dates will be finalised after India responds to the proposal. Official sources said the Foreign Ministers will review the discussions held at Secretary-level meetings on various issues, including terrorism, Jammu and Kashmir, Siachen and Sir Creek, over the last four months. Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao and her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir held talks on Jammu and Kashmir, Peace and Security and Confidence-Building Measures in Islamabad last week. During the talks, the two sides agreed to initiate a number of confidence building measures in nuclear and conventional fields.
