'Pak probe team reaches Pathankot, starts investigation

The five-member Pakistan Investigation Team, probing the possible involvement of a Pak based militant group in Pathankot airbase terror attack has reached Pathankot airbase and started investigation. The team reached Amritsar by air and was taken to the airbase by road. BSF and airbase authorities have taken the team inside the airbase through a newly constructed gate in the back of the airbase wall.<br/><br/>It is considered that terrorists had entered in the airbase by scaling the wall from backside. According to the sources, the team will be taken to Bamial near Indo-Pak border and to the area from where one SP and his friend were kidnapped by the terrorists before the attack.<br/><br/>Earlier, the Pak probe team met officers of the National Investigation Agency, NIA in New Delhi yesterday. NIA gave a detailed presentation to the visiting team on the evidence collected with regard to Pathankot attack case. <br/><br/>BJP President Amit Shah has said that for the first time Pakistan has made serious effort towards investigation. He was addressing a press conference in Kolkata today.
