The U.S. Ambassador to India has said that Pakistan needs to show progress and results in Mumbai trials. Speaking to reporters after a meeting with the Home Minister in New Delhi Timothy J Roemer also asked Pakistan to make sure that people like LeT founder Lakhvi stay in jail. Mr. Roemer in a statement said that the United States will continue its relentless fight in defending its citizens at home and partners like India. Reiterating his country's commitment to continue its undeterred quest for justice, he said, United States is determined to bring the intelligence and military together to effectively accomplish the goals. The Ambassador said that the death of Osama will make both people of India and America safer but the security partnership between the two countries will be strengthened to deal effectively with the menace of terrorism. He said, New Delhi and Washington are sharing intelligence and best practices which is crucial for the two countries' interests.
