In the wake of Pathankot terror attack, Union Minister of State for External Affairs V K Singh has said, Pakistan needs to check terrorist and other organisations acting against India, which is trying to improve bilateral ties.<br/><br/>According to PTI, the former Army chief said, the civilian government in Pakistan should be strengthened to take forward the hopes kindled among the common people of Pakistan after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent visit there. He also lauded the way the security agencies foiled the terror attack and fought against terrorists in Pathankot.<br/><br/>Earlier yesterday, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi said, as per initial information Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad could be behind the attack. He however said, this would be confirmed only after the operation is over.
