Terrorists, including a teenage suicide bomber, attacked two packed mosques in northwest Pakistan yesterday, killing 71 people and injuring over 110. This is one of the worst recent attacks in the volatile tribal region that turned Friday worship into a massacre.The first attack took place in a mosque at Attariwal village in Akhorwal area, 45 km south of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa capital Peshawar. According to Assistant Political Agent Sayed Gul Jamal, 67 people were killed and 70 injured in this blast. The death toll could rise as many of the injured are in a critical condition. The second blast occurred at a mosque at Salman Khel in Badabher, located about 10 km south of Peshawar, while evening prayers were underway. Officials said four persons died and 40 injured.
