Pakistan has lost an appeal to host its Davis Cup Asia-Oceania Group two tie against Lebanon in Lahore early next year. The International Tennis Federation rejected Pakistan's appeal on grounds of present security situation in the country. In the last two and a half years, Pakistan has lost hosting rights for Davis Cup ties against Oman, Philippines, Hong Kong and New Zealand because of its security situation. Pakistan is already playing test cricket and one day international matches at neutral venues outside the country because of its security situation.
