In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani forces resorted to heavy shelling and firing along the Line of Control in Poonch district this morning. Defence sources told AIR that Pakistani forces started unprovoked shelling targeting posts and civilian areas in Makote area of Mendhar sector.<br/><br/>They said, Indian forces retaliated the firing and the heavy exchange of fire is still continuing. There is no fresh report of any loss of life from the Indian side, so far. Yesterday, two Army Jawans were killed while five others injured in Pakistani shelling in Krishna Ghati and Sabzian sectors.
