A breakout of water-borne diseases such as cholera would pose new risks.Pakistan issued new flood warnings as the country faced a serious humanitarian disaster after downpours which have affected 3.2 million people and killed up to 1,500. Pakistan's weather bureau has forecast widespread rains in the southern province of Sindh, Punjab, Pak-occupied Kashmir, the hard-hit northwest and southwestern Baluchistan over the next three days.Meanwhile, army chief Gen Ashfaq Kayani announced the donation of one day salary of all ranks of Pakistan Army to the prime minister's relief fund for those affected by the floods.
