In Jammu and Kashmir, an Armyman attained martyrdom today after he succumbed to his injuries received yesterday in firing from across the border by Pakistani troops. <br/><br/>Defence sources told AIR that Signalman Chandan Kumar Rai from Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh had injured in Pakistani firing in Mendhar sector along LoC in Poonch district. He succumbed to his injuries at a military hospital this morning.
