In Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan Army has again violated ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked firing last night along the Line of Control, LOC, in R S Pura Sector of Jammu district.

Defence sources told AIR that Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing and targeted forward Pittal post in Arnia sub sector around 9:50 P.M. last night. Later, around 1:45 A.M. Pakistani forces again targeted Pittal, Chinaz and Tent Guard Border Outposts (BoPs).

From around 2 A.M. onwards other seven BoPs namely Kotkubba, Budhwar, S.H. Way, Jabbowal, Chowni, Bulachak and Nikkowal were targeted. The unprovoked firing along LOC lasted till 6:50 AM this morning.

No casualty from this side has been reported till last reports came in. However, One civilian has been injured.
