Pak Army violates cease fire; resorts to heavy firing at LOC in J&K

In most ceasefire violation of recent times, Pakistan Army yesterday night simultaneously opened heavy firing in Jhalas about three kilometres from Poonch town and Krishna Ghati sector on the Line of Control in an attempt to infiltrate militants to this side. <br/><br/>Entire Poonch town and villages surrounding the two sectors, have been put on a high alert with police, para-military and Village Defence Committees out on patrols while troops have appropriately responded to thwart Pakistan Army's plot.<br/><br/>The Pakistani Army was anticipating withdrawal of some troops from these two sectors for search operation in Beri Rakh forrest of Mendhar where encounter between holed militants and security forces is going on for the last three days. <br/><br/>Pakistani troops tried to push the militants hoping to take advantage of the situation but failed.
