A Pakistani army major and a top LeT terrorist figure in the charge sheet filed in a US court by America. The chargesheet was filed after India provided an exhautive list of the most wanted terrorists to Pakistan. Those named in the charge sheet include Sajid Majid, Abu Qahafa, Manzhar Iqbal alias Abu Alqama, Lashkar and Major Iqbal. Five Pakistan Army majors are among the top-ten most wanted terrorists by India. The list of 49 most-wanted fugitives in Pakistan was handed over with dossiers by Home Secretary G K Pillai to his counterpart Qamar Zaman Choudhary recently. It mentions ex-majors Sajjid Majid who directed the head shot on Nariman House hostages, Abdur Rehman Hashim Syed , the handler of Indian Mujahideen through his Karachi Project, ex-SSG trooper Illyas Kashmiri, the handler of al-Qaida' s 313 brigade, and two serving majors who handled LeT's David Coleman Headley for the country's secret services, ISI. All top five most-wanted were close to the Pakistan born American terror mind David Coleman Headley. US charge sheet filed in a Chicago trial court against five Pakistani nationals for planning and executing 2008 Mumbai terror attacks conclusively proves involvement of terrorists based in Pakistan. It also indicts Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Vindicating India's stand, it also nails the denials of Islamabad that Pakistan had no knowledge about the terror attacks. In a related incident, US Ambassador to India Timothy Roemer has said that Pakistan should do more to wipe out terrorism from its territory and go after safe havens of al Qaeda and Lashkar terrorists. US President Barack Obama talked to the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh to discuss the successful American action against Osama bin Laden among other matters. According to White House Communuque,Obama also spoke to Dr. Singh to review the progress in implementing the initiatives launched during the his November 2010 visit to India and discussed defence, strategic and high-technology partnerships.
