Pakistani Army once again violated the ceasefire by targeting several Indian forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district in the wee hours today. This was the second ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in Poonch sector since Tuesday night. According to Brigadier General Staff (BGS), 16 Corps, Brig S Dua, dozens of mortars and rockets were fired by Pakistani troops which exploded away from the posts without causing any damage. He said Pakistan troops had targeted Indian posts along the LoC in Krishna Ghati and Jhalas sectors of Poonch by firing over 40 rockets and 40 mortar shells followed by firing from light and medium machine guns for over 2 hours.
