In yet another ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani troops targeted several Indian posts by opening firing along the Line of Control in Poonch district. According to a senior Army Officer, Pakistan troops fired on several Indian posts along the Indo-Pak border in Krishnagati sub-sector of Poonch district late last night.

The firing was resorted by Pakistan troops from their posts Daku, Shiv, Battal on Indian forward posts of Kripan, Kranti and Kranti 1.

Indian troops guarding the border, fired effectively.

There was no loss of life or damage to property in the firing.

From the last couple of days Pakistani troops have been resorting to unprovked firing on Indian forward posts in Jammu Division.
