The Principal Auditor General, PAG,of Jharkhand has found many financial irregularities in different departments of the Jharkhand government, and said despite repeated warnings, no rectification has been done by the state government. Speaking to the media on the occasion of releasing of the annual report,PAG Mridula Sapru said that major irregularities were found in the road construction department, which spent more than Rs.215 crores without budgetary sanctions, and sanctions for roads and bridges of about Rs 662 crores rupees were given without analysing the needs as a result of which roads costing Rs 450 crores are now useless. Similarly, major irregularities were found in the Indira Awaz Yojna, Agriculture, Health and Education departments.
