Leander Paes and his partner debutant Purav Raja kept Indian hopes alive by winning their doubles encounter in the Asia Oceania Davis cup tie against South Korea today. India still trails 1-2 in the five match tie and needs to win both its reverse singles to advance to the second round. In the match played at the R.K.Khanna Tennis Stadium in New Delhi, Paes and Raja pipped Yong-Kyu Lim and Ji Sung Nam, 6-4 7-5 6-2 in a hard-fought contest.
