India's Leander Paes and his Zimbabwean partner Cara Black clinched the mixed doubles championship with a straight set victory. Last year's runners-up and second seeds Paes and Black last night beat 11th seeds South African-American pair of Wesley Moodie and Lisa Raymond 6-4, 7-6 in the finals. Earlier, Rafael Nadal won the Wimbledon men's singles title beating Tomas Berdych 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 in the final in London. The Spanish world number one was too good for the Czech 12th seed on Centre Court and was rarely troubled as he won his second championship at the All England Club. In securing his eighth Grand Slam, Nadal went level with Andre Agassi, Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl, Fred Perry and Ken Rosewall.
