Paes and partner Peya advance to French Open Doubles second round

Leander Paes and his Austrian partner Alexander Peya have advanced to the Men's Doubles second round in the French Open Tennis tournament at Paris. In their opening match yesterday, the seventh seeded Indo-Austrian combine defeated the Italian duo of Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini, 6-1, 6-7, 6-3.Meanwhile, the Indian duo Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna have bowed out of the tournament in the men's doubles opening round. The sixth seeded duo lost to the French pair of Mark Gicquel and Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-1, 5-7, 3-6.
