Centre has said that paddy procurement for Kharif Marketing Season 2020-21 is going on smoothly in the procuring states.<br />'' <br />''Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ministry said that so far about 42.55 Lakh Metric Tonnes of paddy has been procured from over 3.57 lakh farmers with MSP value of over Rs. 8,032 crore.<br />'' <br />''The Ministry said, based on the proposal from the States, approval was accorded for procurement of 30.70 Lakh Metric Tonnes  of Pulse and Oilseeds for Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">It said, sanction for procurement of 1.23 Lakh Metric Tonne of Copra for Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala was also given.</span><br />
