Andy Murray came through another day of punishing heat at the Australian Open with a straight-set win over Frenchman Vincent Millot in the Men's Singles. The Briton won 6-2 6-2 7-5 in the final match of the day on Rod Laver Arena, sealing victory. He will play 26th seed Feliciano Lopez of Spain in the third round tomorrow. Earlier in the Singles, World number one Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Maria Sharapova, Agnieszka Radwanska and Caroline Wozniacki have also advanced to the third round. Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna, with their team-mates, yesterday advanced to the second round of the Australian Open Tennis tournament at Melbourne. In the Women's Doubles first round, the sixth seeded Indo-Zimbabwean pair of Sania Mirza and Cara Black defeated the Aussie team of Arina Rodionova and Tammi Patterson in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4. In the Men's Doubles opening round yesterday, the Indo-Pak team of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi beat the Australian-French combination of Rameez Junaid and Adrian Mannarino, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6.
