The Chief Operations Manager of the Kolkata Metro Rail Mr. S.K. Das has said that there will soon be an overhauling of the entrance and exit gates of all the stations of the Metro Rail. They will be modeled after the entrance and exit system of Delhi Metro. Talks are going on with a Spanish firm on the issue. Mr. Das said that the Two AC trains that are now operating in Kolkata have developed some technical snags which are being looked into. He said this is due to the fact that about three thousand passengers are boarding these rakes as against a capacity of 25 hundred passengers.
