A total 21 Memoranda of Understanding between various maritime players have been singed in the presence of Union Shipping minister Nitin gadkari during the Maritime Summit on the first day today. The worth of these MoUs will be over 13 billion dollars. <br/><br/>Prominent among these are MoU between Samsung and Cochin Shipyards and DBS-SBI and Jawaharlal Nehru Ship yard in connection with the Forex loans worth Rs 2,800 crore . <br/><br/>The Ministry has also announced that another 27 MoUs between public and business partnerships are lined up for tomorrow apart from the business and business deals.
