Over two thousand COVID-19 patients discharged in last 24 hours in Assam

<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, over 2 thousand persons were discharged from hospitals in consecutive past 3 days. Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 2 thousand 476 patients discharged during the last 24 hours in the state. Nearly 66 thousand persons were discharged so far in the state. However there are over 22 thousand active cases in Assam as of now.  <br />''<br />''Weekend lockdown continues across Assam to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Business establishments are closed and movement of people are also restricted during  Saturday and Sunday across the state. The Assam government has allowed plying of public transport with 50 percent capacity and inter district movement of individuals from Monday to Friday. Along with weekend lockdown,  the Health department has also increased the number of rapid antigen tests. Emphasis is being given to cover shopkeepers as shops are allowed to open 5 days in a week. So far 66 thousand patients were discharged from hospitals in the state following their recoveries.</span><br />
