<span style="color: #222222;">Over 96 thousand five hundred crore rupees have been released to States and Union Territories during the financial year 2021-22 as GST compensation. <br />''<br />''This was stated by the Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Choudhary in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha. He said, GST compensation of over 53 thousand 600 hundred crore rupees are yet to be released for financial year 2021-22 to States and UTs. On the GST collection, the Minister said, over 13 lakh 33 thousand crore rupees have been collected during the financial year 2021-22 till February 2022.</span><br />
