In Sikkim, an expenditure of more than 8090 crore rupees is proposed on the general budget of the state for the next financial year. The Chief Minister Mr Pawan Chamling, who is also the finance Minister, presented the budget in the State Legislative Assembly today which envisages a marginal deficit of 20 lakh rupees. He announced setting up of Chief Minister's Senior citizens services and felicitation Centre to enable the elders share their knowledge for the benefit of the society.
