Over 36 lakh crore rupees worth of loan amounts have been disbursed to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) during the last three fiscal years. This was stated by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Narayan Rane in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today. He said, 13.62 lakh crore rupees worth of loan amount have been disbursed to MSMEs in the last fiscal year. He added, over 11 lakh crore rupees have been disbursed through loan in the fiscal year 2020-21 and 11.40 crore rupees in 2019-20.<br />''<br />''The Minister said, the government has taken various measures to boost easy, cheap and accessible loan facilities to MSMEs. He said, the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme was announced as part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Package in May, 2020 to support MSMEs in view of the distress caused by the COVID-19 crisis.
