More than thousand petrol outlets in and around the city of Chennai and Kanchipuram have been closed for the past two days.Commuters have been running from pillar to post for petrol as the outlets in the city have been glaring with no stock placards.Hundreds of Frantic office goers and those who are to attend to hospitals are standing in long queues for hours together before petrol bunks awaiting the arrival of petrol tanks.Officials in the IOC said that they are holding discussions with the officials in the Secretariat to find a solution.
