Over one lakh indigenous landless people of Assam receive land Pattas from Prime Minister at Sivasagar in Assam

<span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister handed over 1.06 lakh Land Pattas/Allotment Certificates to beneficiaries in Jerenga Pathar in Sivasagar in Assam. Speaking on the occasion the PM said he had visited Assam many times in recent years and said the people of Assam have blessed us.     <br />'' PM Modi said 40 per cent of Assam's population is taking the benefit of 'Ayushmaan Bharat' scheme of the Central government. He reiterated that the NDA govt has always kept the preservation of the Assamese culture as its foremost intention behind implementing policies including the protection of the Assamese language & promotion of its literature.<br />'' <br />'' The PM said Over 50 lakh gas cylinders have been distributed in Assam and the Centre-State double engine government is also working very hard to supply running water to all the households of the state. The State is 100 percent electrified and the Ujjala scheme is successful with 99 percent coverage.<br />'' <br />'' The Prime Minister said Act East policy has strengthened connectivity. He also lauded the Assam government for handling the COVID19 situation in a humanitarian manner and called it praise worthy.    <br />'' <br />''He said he was confident that Assam will take forward the vaccination drive now and appealed to all to get vaccinated.</span>
