Bengaluru Urban district and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike jointly administered 2,14,709 doses of COVID vaccine yesterday on the first day of Tikakaran Maha Abhiyan. Karnataka Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar has tweeted that Bengaluru Urban district administered the highest vaccine doses in the country yesterday followed by Indore.<br />'' <br />''The vaccination sessions were conducted at Government Offices, garment factories, APMC market yards, Banks, hotels and places where street vendors and construction workers were present. Over 52 lakh 88 thousand doses were administered in the Bengaluru Urban district till yesterday.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">According to the CoWIN portal, over one crore 95 lakh 37 thousand doses are administered in the entire state till date and out of this over 33 lakh persons have received both the doses. The Minister has said that the plan is to vaccinate everyone above the age of 18 years by December in the state.</span><br />
