Over nomination, high drama goes on in Bihar

In Bihar, all the major political parties are facing revolt within their rank and file over denial of party nominations to prospective candidates of their choice. AIR Patna correspondent reports the Janata Dal (United), BJP,RJD ,LJP and Congress are grapping with dissent over allotment of tickets to the kin of the rebel leaders. Janata Dal (United) MP from Muzaffarpur Capt Jai Narain Nishad criticised the party leadership for refusing his request for giving a ticket to his son to contest the assembly polls.Another Party MP Purnamasi Ram and Lallan Singh have announced that tickets have been distributed without consultation with MPs so they will now campaign for the Congress. On the other hand, RJD MLA Ram Chandra Nishad has joined Janata Dal (United) along with his supporters. The BJP has denied tickets to four sitting MLAs. These MLas have decided to contest elections as an independent candidate. Dissatisfied with distribution of tickets workers of the BJP, Janata Dal (United), RJD, LJP and Congress have demonstrated in front of their party offices at Patna.
