<span style="color: #222222;">The government today said more than 99 percent of cane dues have been cleared for sugar season 2020-21 till 16th of this month. In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said in respect of sugar season 2021-22, about 98 percent of cane dues have been cleared. <br />''<br />'' She said the Centre has fixed 305 rupees per quintal Fair and Remunerative Price, FRP of sugarcane for the current sugar season 2022-23 for a basic recovery rate of 10.25 percent. She said, it is also providing a premium of three rupees five paise per quintal for each 0.1 percent increase in recovery over and above 10.25 percent. </span><br />
