Over 99 percent households have been offered employment against their demand for work under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, MGNREGA, in the current financial year so far. This was stated by Minister of State for Rural Development Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">She said, in the current financial year, the budget provision at budget estimate stage was 73 thousand crore rupees and the Ministry has requested for additional budget allocation which has been enhanced to 98 thousand crore rupees at the revised estimate stage as per the requirement of funds.</span><br />
