More than 9.3 crore PAN have been linked with Adhaar, a senior Income Tax Department officer said. There are about 30 crore PAN holders and by 5th August, only around 30 per cent of them have linked it with Adhaar. <br/><br/>The official told PTI that the linking of PAN with Aadhaar can be done till August 31, but cautioned tax payers, their tax returns would not be processed until the linkage is done.<br/><br/> Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had recently informed Lok Sabha that the government has not fixed any time frame to complete the linking of Aadhaar with PAN.
