<span style="color: #222222;">Over 84 percent of eligible beneficiaries aged 18 years and above have received both doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the country. This was stated by the Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today. He said, 97 percent of eligible beneficiaries have received the first dose under the national Covid-19 vaccination programme. However, two crore 60 lakh eligible beneficiaries above 18 years of age have not taken even single doses of vaccine. The Minister added that over 51 percent of beneficiaries aged between 15 to 18 years have received both doses of Covid vaccines.<br />''<br />''Replying to another query, Dr. Mandaviya said, no death has been reported by the States and Union Territories due to a shortage of oxygen during the Covid-19 pandemic. He said, Health is a state subject and the Union Government has requested States and Union Territories to furnish the details. He said, 20 States and UTs have responded and none of these have reported death due to oxygen shortage. The Minister said, over four thousand Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) plants have been commissioned in the country so far.</span><br />
