In Jammu and Kashmir, large number of people today participated in the second phase of ongoing Panchayat elections. Under this phase the polling has been conducted for the election of 275 Sarpanchas and 2031 Panches in 8 blocks across the state. Over 80 per cent polling has been recorded in this phase.
