Over 7500 students turned up for Mission XI Million programme held at Assam Rifles Ground in Aizawl on Tuesday. Union Minister of State, Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel attended the event. He said, Mission XI Million programme has reached 15 per cent of the targetted 11 million students in the country. He also said, Sports Talent Search Portal will soon be launched under Sports Authority of India (SAI) to give opportunity to children with passion for sports, to develop further.<br/>Earlier, he promised funds for starting a football Academy at Mizoram Football Association playground in Sairang. The event was also attended by State Education Minister H.Rohluna, Sports Minister Zodintluanga, Parliamentary Secretary Pu Hmingdailova Khiangte and Mizo national and international footballers Jeje Lalpekhlua, Robert Lalthlamuana and S.Malsawmtluanga.<br/>At least 189 schools have registered under MXIM programme in Aizawl City alone, and registration is still open which means the number of partipants is likely to increase, says state MXIM Coordinator Francis Paul.<br/><br/>
