Polling was heavy in Tamil nadu, where voting is on for all the 39 constituencies. AIR correspondent reports that over 70 percent of voters exercised their franchise there by 5 PM. Voting was also heavy in West bengal with 80 percent polling till 5 PM 6 Lok Sabha seats – Raiganj, Balurghat, Malda North and South, Murshidabad and Jangipu.
